CBT 1 ek screening test hai jisme basic aptitude, reasoning aur GK check hoti hai. Ye stage sirf qualification ke liye hota hai; iska marks final merit me add nahi hota. Iska maksad large applicant pool ko filter karna, speed, accuracy aur fundamentals ko objectively test karna hai.

CBT 2 ka level CBT 1 se higher hota hai aur yahi marks final merit me count hote hain. Yahan subject depth, analytical ability, application of concepts aur problem-solving test hoti hai. Is stage ke liye focused preparation, mock analysis aur time management sabse critical hote hain.

(A) Mathematics (Ganit)

Mathematics majorly Class 10th level tak hota hai, par application-based questions zyada aate hain. Concepts ko clear rakhna, formulae handy rakhna aur calculation speed improve karna key hai. Topic-wise targeted practice aur mixed mock sets se accuracy aur time control dono improve hote hain.

• Number System: Integers, rational/irrational numbers, divisibility aur basic properties. Simplification, comparison aur conversions par focus. Strong foundation se BODMAS, fractions aur algebraic manipulations smooth ho jate hain.


• BODMAS Rule: Brackets, orders, multiplication-division, addition-subtraction ka correct sequence. Ye speed + accuracy ka core hai. Typical traps: mixed fractions, exponents, replacement symbols.


• Decimals & Fractions: Conversion, addition-subtraction, multiplication-division, comparison. Word problems me percentage/ratio ke saath integrate hota hai. Place value clarity bahut zaroori.


• LCM & HCF: Prime factorization aur shortcut methods. Time-table, gear-teeth, cycle problems me direct use. Mixed numbers/fractions ke saath application par dhyan dein.


• Ratio & Proportion: Direct/inverse proportion, mixture-alligation, partnership. Unitary method ke shortcuts practice karein. Diagram se visualization helpful rahta hai.


• Percentage: Increase/decrease, successive percentage, exam scores, DI basics. Profit-loss, simple interest aur GST-type contexts me link hota hai. Mental math tricks ka use karein.


• Profit & Loss: CP, SP, MP, discount, successive transactions. Marked price aur additional discount traps pe focus. Exam me quick formula recall se score secure hota hai.


• Simple & Compound Interest: Principal, rate, time relations. CI annual/half-yearly cases; difference between SI & CI based questions. Percentage base solid ho to topic scoring hota hai.

(B) General Intelligence & Reasoning (Tarkik Kshamta)

Section logical thinking, pattern recognition aur decision-making ko measure karta hai. Accuracy first approach rakhein; high cut-offs me silly mistakes costly hoti hain. Puzzles/arrangements ko rough diagrams, tables aur codes se organize karke solve karein. Timed sets se stamina aur speed build hoti hai.

• Analogies: Word/number/symbol relations. Relationship map karna seekhein (type, function, intensity). Out-of-context options eliminate karke accuracy badhegi.

• Current Affairs: National/International events, budget, schemes, appointments, sports, awards. 6–8 months focused coverage with weekly revision; factual traps se bachne ko crisp notes helpful.


• Indian History & Freedom Struggle: Ancient–Medieval–Modern overview; key movements, leaders, dates. Timeline charts bana kar sequential recall improve karein.


• Indian Geography: Physical (rivers, climate, soils) & economic (agriculture, minerals, industries). Maps ke through location memory strong banayein.


• Indian Constitution & Polity: Preamble, FRs, DPSPs, Parliament, Judiciary, constitutional bodies. Articles/Amendments ke smart lists maintain karein.
